[Tif-mail] Groups/ Yizkor Appeal

There will not be any groups in shul over Shavous, they will resume once
again on Shabbos



On the second day of Shavous, the shul will be making a Yizkor Appeal. 

As is the minhag of the shul on Shavous, we will be asking for donations
to defray the costs of groups every Shabbos.

The custom of donating money at Yizkor time is to bring an Aliyah for
the Neshama. We ask all members to consider make a pledge (large or
small) even if you do not have children that make use of the groups on
Shabbos. 

 

This is also an appropriate time to give Hakaras Hatov to the Director
of our Groups Program, Ozer Herzog and to recognize the group leaders:
Stephanie Levit, Avi Persin and Avi Sebbag. Thank you all for taking the
time to watch and teach our children.
